I am using your product under Ubuntu and the system is on VMware. It seems that it is impossible for me to enable the desktop effects for some reasons. then your product looks ugly when all the transparent parts are replaced by black backgrounds. Ever since I downloaded and installed the 0.9.7 upgrade on 11/25, I have not been able to log in. Specifically, I open Twirl, and type in my password, and nothing happens. (If I type something else in the password slot, I get an "Authorization failed" pop-up, so it does recognize my password... It just doesn't get as far as using it to log in.) I have deleted and reinstalled both Twirl and Air, but doing either (or both) did not solve the problem. I'm on a mac running OS X v. 10.6.5, intel I tried using @askseesmic on twitter, but they seem preoccupied with the new seesmic desktop and phone apps, and stopped responding to me at all on 11/29, for reasons I cannot fathom.
