Why don't you add in identi.ca support? Then we can all switch across when Twitter goes down. Or just stay there even. API was released yesterday: http://tinyurl.com/6amety

I'm a new Twhirl-user and it seems a very good piece of softare, but I try to find the "public-timeline" view and I have not found it?!
I know, 99 % all of the computer flaws are sitting in front of it ;-) but can someone help me?

Sadly, Twhirls stability has been going faltering. 8.2 would simply stop updating at random - but 8.3 is effectively dead from the first moment it launches.

Sometimes it loads one windows (seesmic) and freezes on the others, sometimes none, sometimes it works fine.

I don't know if it's known already, but Twhirl runs fine on the Air Alpha for Linux.

During the last week, and due to the ubiquitous presence of the "twitter whale" whenever you try to make twitter work, my circle of contacts is taking part in a massive (well, sort of... 30 people or so) switch from twitter to Jaiku.

Almost everybody in the aforementioned group uses and loves Twhirl, and the biggest issue that keeps them from abandoning twitter for good is the lack of a proper desktop client for Jaiku.

Twhirl is just one step from being the weapon of choice. You can, actually, update Jaiku from twhirl, but you CAN'T read your contacts' Jaikus updates from it. I have read the version changelogs, where it specifically states that this feature is NOT available at the moment.

My question is... are you prioritizing on this? I really think that a lot of people would love ditching twitter in favor of a jaiku/twhirl combo.

Thanks in advance and kind regards!
