Hi. I’d like to second Scott’s proposal about a way to filter search results from my home tab. This is my sole bugbear with Twhirl. Thanks.

Is there syntax to filter out results on my home tab that come from searches? I like having some searches go directly to my home tab, but I'd also like to filter them out if I could. Doing negative filters on the values they search for might filter out tweets of people I follow.

Currently the only way I know of is to scroll down my list and look at the star vs. mag glass icon.

I'd like to suggest something along the lines of -meta_issearch

This would be a negative search against meta data about the tweet and it's looking at the boolean IsSearch field. I am no programmer, so you make the call, but you get the idea.

Hey guys. Add this page content to the main website's documentation section. There's no mention of how to use filters over there now. Found this page via google.
